Saffron:
I made a mistake buying this house.
It needs work, more than I am capable of, and I can’t afford to hire anyone.
I figure that I’m screwed… until my neighbor offers me a deal.
He’ll do the renovations, if I pretend to be his girlfriend for Thanksgiving with his family.
Nolan:
I can’t do another family holiday where I’m being set up by everyone.
Which is why I make a deal with my new neighbor.
I thought that it would be simple.
We would eat, pretend to be in love with each other and then go home.
There’s just one problem.
The more time that I spend with my curvy fake girlfriend, the more I fall for her.
Now I need to figure out how to make my fake girlfriend my real one.

I loved Saffron and Nolan together! Their relationship started out as fake but they both realized they had been keeping their true feelings from each other. I was so happy when they finally confessed their feelings to each other. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a low angst, short story.

Saffron has bought her dream home thinking she could do the few diy projects needed. Until she takes a hard look and knows she can’t do them and doesn’t have the money to hire someone to do them. Her grumpy neighbor Nolan needs a date to his family’s Thanksgiving and she needs help with the house renovation so they make a deal. This is one of the best fake dates I’ve read. It’s fast and steamy, Nolan and Saffron are a great couple and so cute and it’s just a really feel good love story. Loved it
