Instead of trying to interpret the various events of Revelation, Tozer looks at the underlying spiritual lessons of the book, such as:
- The basic truth that Jesus is Victor
- The strong message of repentance
- The holiness of Jesus
- The wrath of God
This book is not a presentation of any certain eschatological view, but a plea for readers to repent. It is A. W. Tozer's desire that all who would pursue the truth of Revelation to be overcomers and rest their faith on the goodness and grace of a loving and just Creator God.

Pastor Tozer makes it so vividly clear, that we cannot be excused of not knowing the Truth of the Messiah's Attonement on the cross. I am 86 years, and never heard it so clear from the pulpit . I thank heaven for this.
