are the people in the reviews kidding? are they being paid or something? this book is extremely transphobic, with a lot of fake information, not backed up by any scientific information nor with the consent most of these said "influencers" someone who is transgender would never try to "seduce" a teenage girl to feel like a gender they aren't because they know whats its like to feel that way, and wouldn't wish for that in anyone else being transgender isn't "contagious", maybe a teenage girl watching a youtube video about someone who is transgender may *help* the girl figure out she is transgender, but its not contagious or "trendy" for someone who is transgender it literally feels so bad to have gender dysphoria, to personally feel the feeling of being put in the wrong body, no one who is transgender would *ever* want that for someone else as of with the quotes (typically from youtubers) who are telling teenage girls to think the parent is the villain, the author heavily edited those quotes, and on top of that they were trying to tell their non-supported viewers that everything will be alright, and if their parents don't support them, then they can make a small family online with people who do support them, because a family is someone who loves you, biologically or not (what i just said is controversial but i, myself, have found people on the internet incredibly supportive and helpful thru hard situations, people who i vent to that give better responses than my parents will ever give me, this may not work for you but you can certainly try) these girls also have all the right to not talk to their transphobic parents (as well as homophobic *or* abusive) because the parents are no good to them and don't act like "good" parents if they treat them that way because of who they, who they love, or any other reason, its unfair and teenagers shouldn't be alright with that way of being treated this book is horrible and i sincerely cannot see why people would ever agree, even a bit with these lies and not researched "facts" can people just respect each other for who they are, who they love, or any other thing that doesn't harm anyone else and not hate them, make them feel less, hurt them, offend them, or any other thing you are *not* supposed to do? is it really that hard to try to understand someone who just wants to live a happy life but can't because people like the author of this book exist, its really disgusting to see this happens just be respectful to people, and if you "can't" for some reason, don't do what this author did, don't make a book about it or share your opinion, if only transphobic people care, then go share it with them, but people who are decent human beings, certainly don't care its not that hard to have common sense and be alright with people who just want to live happily and not do harm to the world leave them alone please and be respectful!!

I wish I had been given the freedom and trust to transition when I was in my early teens. I knew who I was then, but now as an adult trans man it's harder to begin the transition process. Especially with unfortunate books like this one being out there for people to try to continue to erase us.
