After being left at the alter and spending the night with her best friend's younger brother seven years ago, Mac ran away from her hometown and never came back. Now that her best friend is getting married, Mac is back in town, trying to forget all of the bad memories and the great ones she made with Gavin. Gavin has been in love with Mac for most of his life and now that she's back in town, he's going to make sure that she realizes how perfect they could be together, if only she could move past her past. I loved all of the characters in this story. Gavin is sweet, romantic, and a great friend. Mac has been through a lot but, at times, her holding Gavin at an arm's length got frustrating. This entire group of friends is hilarious, supportive, and close. I am really looking forward to more books in this series. *This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

I was disappointed to see that the author felt the need to add crude, vulgar language and situations in this book. I'm hoping the other two books in this series doesn't contain the same. I've loved her series and was shocked when I read this book.
