As a warrior for his werebear clan, Ace is bound to take on whatever mission he’s assigned, but he never expects to be ordered to convince an unsuspecting human she’s his true mate and should become a being she doesn’t believe exists. His reluctance to deal with a human disappears the moment he meets Sabine, and he’s convinced the task will be easy. But he quickly discovers he’s exceedingly wrong. Free will is very much a right that humans can exercise, and for the first time in his career, Ace is afraid he might fail.
