Advances in Lipid Research, Volume 21 covers several significant and emerging areas in lipid metabolism, including apolipoprotein metabolism and leukotrienes. This book discusses the role of fat in the functioning of the immune system. Organized into eight chapters, this volume begins with an overview of the metabolism of apolipoprotein B, which is the principal protein of chylomicrons, very low density, and low density lipoprotein.
