About this ebook

Dive into six full-length urban fantasy novels by USA Today and national bestselling authors!

Escape into tales of shifters and sorceresses, gamers and bakers, demons and artifact hunters, plus one very mischievous Norse god. Full of adventure, mystery, romance, and plenty of snark, these novels will immerse you in magical worlds while you turn pages far into the night.

Huntress Born by Aimee Easterling - Werewolf and baker Ember leaves her pack to hunt for her missing half brother. But with danger growing on all sides, it's only a matter of time before she gets burned. By an author described as a "good choice for Patricia Briggs fans."

Beyond the Veil by Pippa DaCosta - Half-demon and half-human, Muse tried to lead an ordinary life. But when an underworld assassin comes after her, she must embrace her powers—and make a formidable deal with the Prince of Greed.

Justice Calling by Annie Bellet - Between hiding out from her evil ex-boyfriend who wants to steal her power and keeping her friends safe from dangerous magics, Jade Crow has all the problems. For fans of The Dresden Files and the Iron Druid, this is a nerdy urban fantasy full of snark and fireballs.

Getting Wilde by Jenn Stark - Tarot-reading artifact hunter Sara Wilde can find anything, for a price. Then a wickedly sexy magician offers her the ultimate challenge: Sneak behind Vatican walls...and steal the Devil himself. Globe-trotting, fast-paced, high-stakes adventure perfect for fans of Darynda Jones, Faith Hunter, and Ilona Andrews!

Wolves by C. Gockel - When Amy prays for help, Loki the Norse God of mischief and Chaos isn't the savior she has in mind. Loki can't resist Amy's summons, but he can insist that she help him outwit Odin, ruler of the Nine Realms. The start of an epic urban fantasy with myth, magic, and mayhem!

Empowered: Agent by Dale Ivan Smith - The world says those possessing superpowers are either heroes or villains. But what if you're both? Former rogue empowered Mathilda Brandt must return to villainy in order to save her family and thousands of others from a psychotic criminal mastermind.

First off I can't believe this box set was free. I plan on picking up a couple of these series and running through them. Now the one from Jenn Stark I have already raced through that series and loved every book and branched out to more. These funky, strong, crazy, stubborn women have been thrown into the lives they now find themselves immersed in. While they fumble and make mistakes they are clearly up for the challenge (they just don't know it yet). The characters have you spinning sometimes but bring it all to a finish in a great way leaving you wanting more of the series. Lost of thrills and intrigue, action and mayhem and mostly clean reads they will lead you on through their chase. Loved the set and the intro to some new exciting authors.

About the author

Aimee Easterling wasn't raised by wolves, but she did spend the first ten years of her life running wild in their habitat. Since then, she's backpacked across three continents, spent over a decade homesteading half a mile from the nearest road, and now unearths excitement amid fictional werewolf packs. Her USA Today bestselling books straddle the line between urban fantasy and paranormal romance...because everyone deserves a pack, a mate, and an adventure.

Pippa DaCosta is a two time DragonCon Award finalist, --- "Wait a second. Let's cut to the chase. I write kick-ass urban fantasy and science-fiction novels packed with conflicted characters, breathless action, and no-holds-barred dialogue. My books may not leave you feeling all fluffy and warm inside, but they will excite you. There will be plot twists, there will be angst, probably a few bodies, and very likely your favorite character will turn out to be the bad guy. Don't say I didn't warn you..." USA TODAY bestselling author of the Veil series, Soul Eater, London Fae (Bloomsbury), 1000 Revolution, Messenger Chronicles and more...

Science Fiction and Fantasy for gamers and nerds! USA Today bestselling and Alfie Award winning author Annie Bellet holds a BA in English and a BA in Medieval Studies and thus can speak a smattering of useful languages such as Anglo-Saxon and Medieval Welsh. Her other interests include rock climbing, reading, horse-back riding, video games, comic books, table-top RPGs and many other nerdy pursuits. She lives in the Netherlands with her husband.

Jenn Stark is an award-winning author of paranormal romance and urban fantasy. She lives and writes in Ohio. . . and she definitely loves to write. In addition to her "Immortal Vegas" urban fantasy series, she is also author Jennifer McGowan, whose Maids of Honor series of Young Adult Elizabethan spy romances are published by Simon & Schuster, and author Jennifer Chance, whose Rule Breakers series of New Adult contemporary romances are published by Random House/LoveSwept and whose modern royals series, Gowns & Crowns, is now available.

C. Gockel has been writing stories for her friends and family since the dark ages (i.e., before word processors existed.) A few years ago, she started posting those stories to the intertubes. She received emails, messages, and reviews from her fans telling her she should 'do this professionally.' She didn't; she is a coward and life as a digital designer, copywriter and coder is more dependable. But in the end, her husband's nagging wore her down: "You could be the next '50 Shades of Gray' and I could retire!" Unfortunately, the author writes science fiction and fantasy, and isn't particularly good at writing erotica. She is sad about this; she'd love for her husband to be able to retire and just work for her so she could nag him.

Dale Ivan Smith got into trouble in grade school for sneaking off to the library during class, so naturally he wound up working as a librarian for the Multnomah County Library system in Portland, Oregon. He's been writing fiction since he was a kid. He's had stories published in Perihelion Science Fiction, Everyday Fiction, 10Flash Quarterly, and on the Toasted Cake podcast. The Empowered is his first novel series, beginning with Empowered: Agent. When he isn't writing or reading fantasy and science fiction, he's playing board games, practicing yoga, and obeying his feline overlords.
