About the author
Alafair Burke studierte Psychologie am Reed College in Portland/Oregon und machte einen Abschluss an der Stanford Law School. Danach war sie lange für die Staatsanwaltschaft in Portland tätig. Sie ist die Tochter von James Lee Burke und lebt mit ihrem Ehemann in New York. Im Aufbau Taschenbuch ist bisher ihr Thriller „The Wife“ erschienen. Kathrin Bielfeldt ist Texterin und Übersetzerin und spricht fünf Sprachen. Sie hat unter anderem Romane von Elisabeth Elo, Pete Dexter und James Sallis ins Deutsche übertragen.
