About the author

Alan Sugar spent four and a half years in Federal Prison, and while he was at Butner Low Prison, he studied and learned Yoga from an inmate who had been practicing Yoga for twenty years. When he was moved to spend his last three years at F.P.C. Seymour Johnson A.F.B, he began instructing a class in Yoga four nights a week for three years. Alan made an extensive study of Rodney Yee’s Yoga books and tapes, along with developing some new Asanas of his own. Yoga Magazine was also welcomed every month. Alan is an alumnus of the University of N.C. The Julliard Conservatory of Music, and Hebrew Union College of N.Y. Alan now lives in Fayetteville, N.C. with his wife and dog, Mitzu. Alan practices Yoga everyday and Syda Yoga Meditation.
