Writing biographies, screenplays, and fiction has become Alberthiene Endah's breath. The writer who was born in Bandung, September 16, started his writing career at Life Magazine in 1993. Then from 1994 to 2004 he became the editor of Femina Magazine. From 2004 to 2009, he was the editor-in-chief of Prodo Magazine. The world of journalism brought him together with many figures and he realized that there was so much inspiration that could be spread to society through extraordinary people. This Dutch Literature graduate from the University of Indonesia has produced a number of bestselling novels, namely Monica's Match, Loved by Jo, Matre Girl, Celebrity, Mrs. Jetset, I Love My Boss, the teen series Rockin Girls, Sahabat and Sahabat Story 2 Asmara Dini Hari, Athirah ( a novel inspired by the story of Jusuf Kalla and his mother), The Story of Dogs, and Men from Tidore. One of his novels entitled Don't Give Me Drugs received a special award from the National Narcotics Agency and won the first Adikarya Award 2005 from IKAPI. This novel has also been made into a film under the title Seconds of the Last Time and won an award at the 2005 Bali Film Festival. He also wrote the script for the 2005 musical Mahadaya Cinta, which was performed by Guruh Soekarnoputra. In 2006, the script of the FTV Supermodel that she made was nominated for the Vidya Cup. He is also active in producing scenarios for hundreds of soap opera episodes for Indonesian and Malaysian television. In 2009, she received the Inspirational Woman She Can Award. He directly received the book There is Always a Choice by Mr. SBY at the launch of the book. Currently, he is active with a number of biographical writing projects, runs a small business, is a speaker at seminars on writing in Indonesia and Singapore, is a visiting lecturer at several universities, occasionally active in filmmaking. The film "Athirah" is the latest drama film from Indonesia which is based on a novel of the same name by Alberthiene Endah, which tells the life journey of a woman named Athirah, the mother of Vice President Jusuf Kalla.
