About this eBook

The most colourful month is here, and so is our most colourful edition!

In these times, it is so refreshing to see the rainbow truly representing EQUALITY and ACCEPTANCE.

Although this should have been a given, we must not forget that it was only recently (September 2018 to be precise) that the Indian Govt declared that people from LGBTQ+ community had constitutional rights, including liberties protected by the Constitution of India. Well, better late than never. We still have a long way to go.

This issue is out in June to mark the Stonewall riots in New York, US wherein a series of spontaneous, violent demonstrations by members of the gay community in response to a police raid that began in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969. That incident is said to be the first milestone in the fight for equality.

In this issue we have spoken to a few members of the LGBTQ+ community to understand what’s it like to work in the alco-bev industry. We have also looked at some of the brands being supportive with unique colourful bottling.

Hope you enjoy reading this issue. As always, stay home, stay safe. Until next time,

Cheers!
