Just starting this book; I've loved the prior books, but as I have started 'The Cavern' chapter, I can't go on without commenting on the impossibility of a cavern with free-standing water, yet containing a vacuum. That is, unfortunately, an impossibility. Either nough of the water would vaporize to fill the cavern with water vapor, or the water itself would be sucked in to fill the cavern. The cavern could not contain a vacuum as described.

I agree with the few reviews I've read. Such a monumental effort to carry a book throughout century upon century, yet he never loses his reader's deep interest & desire to devour more of his story. Awesome writing, story telling & sharing of different worlds!

This author's mind thinks way outside the box. I am completely entrenched in this series and will be going through serious withdrawals when I'm done. I would write more but I'm in a rush to purchase the next installment!
