Another Holiday: A Wildcatters Hockey Holiday Novella

I could identify with Naomi in this novella, having had to deal with a preemie baby with the strain of round-the-clock feeding and lack of sleep! However, the one advantage she and Adam had was their close-knit team members who gave them the backing they needed and sound advice. The couple are put under further strain by Adam's anxiety about the reality of their child and with little time to prepare for Felix, he is caught up in an emotional storm.

Sweet and endearing: This was a sweet novella and whilst it features a new couple, I would recommend reading these books in order as there are interconnecting characters that feature heavily. It was lovely being back with this close group of friends and seeing all the changes that had come to their lives. This story wasn't a romance like the rest of the books in the series, but rather was about the fears and trials that come with new parenthood; along with the joys and deep love too. Adam and Naomi both had insecurities and fears but I liked how they ended up coming together to work through the challenges. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
