Hold Tight: A For Him Novella

Another awesome quickie by the dynamic writing duo Alexa Riley! Pandora has been skirting around Royce since he first made his intentions obvious. She is certainly attracted to him but holds herself back from taking the next step. There is something about him that just doesn’t add up. When the truth is revealed, Royce’s inner beast surfaces and he makes his move. Too much, too fast? Possibly. As all AR books, this is a fast paced, quick read filled with instant lust, instant love and an over the top jealously protective hero. The steam factor is off the charts even if it doesn’t present itself until about half way through the story. And as always, the epilogue is enough to add an additional star rating because it made me swoon, smile and sigh. This is an honest review of an advanced copy provided by NetGalley and Carina Press. This was a nice, slow burn romance, with all the fireworks and commotion packed into the end. That isn't to say there isn't heat along the way, but it was a much more even pace than expected from the authour. It was still amazing, just unexpected Pandora holds herself tightly together, not letting anyone outside of her family near her. She doesn't need anyone else, she gets all she needs from her family. When Royce meets her, the depth of the feelings that hit her scares her, she's never had this kind of reaction before. Royce is blown away the moment he sees Pandora, and the more he gets to know her, the more he realizes she is the perfect woman for him for his forever. She is locked up so tight though, can he ever even get a chance with her? These two are strong willed, and evenly matched, but they need each other, and that isn't going to change no matter how hard they fight it!
