About this ebook

Summary of Unwinding Anxiety

The first section of the book is titled: “Introduction” the author introduces his background as a psychiatrist, his experience with anxiety, and that he discovered a missing clue that anxiety hides in our bad habits. He became very interested in those struggling with addictions and noted that many of the struggles his patients suffered from, he did as well. This was along the time that the author started meditating, and related his feelings of cravings and experience with the anxiety of working through residency training to that of his patients. He started to have his panic attacks and using what he had learned in his meditation practice to calm them, realized that no one was studying the “science of meditation” at that time.
This book is all of the research that the author spent the next decade researching and developing into a program to help others overcome their anxiety and habits. The second section of the book is titled: “Part 0: Understanding Your Mind” which includes chapters one through four.
