This story and the rest of the set tell of the fight that a family has to stay a live and not turn to vampires as the rest of the world had. Only to fined some of those that were infected were trying to find a cure for it as there are different kinds of the virus to really appreciate this set you need to read it and i hope you enjoy the journey. As i have please leave a review.

Love this series. Love the strong characters. Would read them again. But....one question, Why wasn't April's discovery of the cross and holy water in the prequel book ever used as weapons against the feral and hybrid vampires in the continuation of the series?Wasn't this a vital piece of knowledge to use? Why put it in there and never bring it up again? This could of changed the outcome of the series. Is this why? It hung in my thoughts through out all the books. Other than that, I absolutely love it.
