Alexis Abbott gave me everything I want suspense, action and steamy sex. With Alexis Abbott giving me everything I look for in a bad boy romance, I just never connected with Justine and Ironside. I was entertained and enjoyed the story, I'm not sure what it was missing for me, maybe I wanted some conflict coming from the father. I like Ironside and his protective nature and how he always had Justine's back. I liked Justine and how she steps up when needed. There were some things missing for me at the end, maybe that's Alexis Abbott setting up for the next book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader's copy.

OMG this is one great storyline, a great big handsome tattooed biker saves a girl and goes on a motorcycle chase. After that there’s danger, police chases, fighting, suspense, twists and turns, and a whole lot of hot steamy sizzling off the charts chemistry. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and gave my honest opinion.

After a days worth of recon involving a newly opened nightclub owned by a rival MC, Ironside decides to make his move. He needs evidence against Diesel and the Buzzsaws. Being part of the Heartbreakers MC means he needs to keep his town safe and that means scoping out the surrounding areas. This new nightclub looks very sketchy. Ironside is an ex marine and he takes this job seriously. Diesel is the President of the Buzzsaws MC and his reputation for the mistreatment of women is known throughout the state. Justine is a little slip of a girl. Barely legal, she's spent her life sheltered from the world and was brought up to be polite, pure and submissive. Justine was taken and well on her way to becoming Diesel's next victim. Ironside messed up bad. It's one thing to do recon on a rival club, but stealing their prize possession? Well that's gonna cause a war. They are on the run, wanted by a rival MC as well as the law. In the MC life, it's hard to discern good from bad, you never know who is a friend or who is your enemy. Justine had been betrayed by the one man that should have protected her. Ironside is now that man. That means he will be the one protecting her from now on.
