Mafia Enforcer Another great read from Alexis Abbott. Her mafia books are filled with action, danger, intrigue and suspense. The characters are relatable and the pacing is perfect to bring you to the edge of your seat, and glued to the pages until the end. Bruno Lomaglio is an enforcer for the mob. He left Serena DeLaurentis behind years ago. All for Serena’s protection, only she never realized the extent of Bruno’s sacrifice until he appears again in her life years later. It was understood because of his commitment and loyalty to the mafia that she and her store were off limits to any gang backlash. During the years, Serena’s been under the radar from the mob, so she thought. But a rival crime syndicate has other ideas, and that includes the use of her body. Serena is the daughter of mob royalty and they have plans for her. But now that Bruno is back, he’ll do anything in his power to protect her. Ms. Abbott brings us an exciting installment of the series. It sort of ends in a bit of a cliffy, but wow! I can’t wait for what happens next to Bruno and Serena’s story. There are unanswered questions from their past I want to know. I received and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

It seems as though it's a typical morning for Serena. She wakes early, opens her bath goods store, Bathing Beauty, right on time and gets ready for business...except today is not a typical morning. This morning she has a new customer, one that wants something other than bath products. This isn't Serena's first rodeo. She knows how these people work. She's grown up in the life and barely survived the escape. She has had other run ins with the mafia, only this time Luca is nowhere to be found. Luca rescued Serena years ago from a horrifying situation. Today, unbeknownst to her, Luca is not too far away. Luca is not the same man Serena remembers. He was young and just starting out. Now he's a made man and he has earned that title. Luca quickly learns that he's not the only one watching Serena. Soon they are reconnecting as if they had never been apart. A confrontation with the Abruzzi family, his rival, brings he!! to Serena's doorstep. The manner in which Luca handles the situation is less than ideal in the eyes of his family and has put Serena in the Abruzzi's sights. And just like that, Serena is in as much danger as she was the first time Luca saved her. Years ago Luca gave up everything for Serena, but is he willing to do that again? WELL WRITTEN, CAPTIVATING, HARD DRIVING STORYLINE WITH NON STOP ACTION RIGHT UP UNTIL THE 'WOW I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING' CLIFFHANGER ! PACKED WITH LOTS OF RAW, NO HOLDS BARRED SEX ! ! ! Omg loved it, Alexis another great story, This the first book in the Bound Series, This book grabbed my attention from the start and kept it there till the end. There's plenty of drama, suspense, action. The story about Bruno and Serena they have chemistry that is HOT. This book has it all! Loved it, If you love your Mafia books Alexis is your go to girl.A must read you won’t be disappointed, I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy. WARNING - THIS BOOK ENDS IN A CLIFFHANGER
