For Sofie King, love has always been a risk.

She’s been living under a thundercloud since her dad’s sudden death when she was just teenager, building a career in insurance and letting the numbers predict the safest options. But meeting husband Rory was like a ray of sunshine breaking through: he can’t help but always see the bright side.

When Sofie falls pregnant, the couple begin to dream of their future as a three. But just a week before her due date, the worst thing imaginable happens and there is no baby to bring home from the hospital.

Sofie and Rory are cast into the chaos of the deepest, darkest grief. Can they find hope again, somewhere in this raging storm? Is there a still a future for their marriage? The overwhelming love they have for the life Sofie carried means nothing will ever be the same again.
