About this ebook

The New York Times bestselling author of Wallbanger and Rusty Nailed is back with Nuts, the first in a series set in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley.

Roxie Callahan is a private chef to some of Hollywood’s wealthiest, and nastiest, calorie-counting wives. After a dairy disaster implodes her carefully crafted career in one fell ploop, she finds herself back home in upstate New York, bailing out her hippie mother and running the family diner.

When gorgeous local farmer Leo Maxwell delivers her a lovely bunch of organic walnuts, Roxie wonders if a summer back home isn’t such a bad idea after all. Leo is heavily involved in the sustainable slow food movement, and he likes to take his time. In all things. Roxie is determined to head back to the west coast as soon as summer ends, but will the pull of lazy fireflies and her very own Almanzo Wilder be enough to keep her home for good?

Salty. Spicy. Sweet. Nuts. Go on, grab a handful.

Nuts by Alice Clayton is the first book in her brand new Hudson Valley series. It is an absolutely HILARIOUS sexy romp through diner living and farm to table humping. Did I mean to say humping? Yes, yes I did. Roxie and Leo are a spectacular duo. Roxie doesn't date - she is more of a wham bam kinda girl. She has zero time for feelings. Leo is the sexy hot farmer in her hometown that she has recently moved back to and the can't stop falling over each other. Literally. It seems like Roxie and Leo circle each other - her stating "Only For The Summer!" and Leo being all like, "okay" but when she discovers a secret he has been hiding not sharing with her, things change - they get real in a way way Roxie is NOT ready for, and she is about to question everything she had laid out for herself.

I have been a fan of Alice Clayton's work for awhile now! I loved this book and the fact that I can relate to bits and pieces of the leading lady in this book (and others)! Fan for life! Cannot wait for more of her work!

I just wish they would have finished the story with out having to switch the main characters on the next book.
