(for Back Cover) Alice Singer-Genis holds a DDS from Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich, a BA in psychology from Pace University, Pleasantville, NY, and an MA in psychology from Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, NY. She received her certification as school psychologist from the College of New Rochelle, NY, and her certification as biofeedback therapist from the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America. She volunteered for many years at the Hospital Auxiliary Peekskill, for the Heart Fund Westchester, and for Hadassah. She is a lifetime member of the Hospital Auxiliary Peekskill and Hadassah and served as president of Hadassah for five years. She presented lectures about biofeedback and psycho-physiology at various organizations. Among many other awards, she received the New Life Award Israel Bonds, was named Woman of Merit by Westchester Hadassah, and is included in Who’s Who in the East, Who’s Who of American Women, and Who’s Who in America. Throughout her adult life she has been an ardent gardener, traveler, and supporter of the arts. She lives in Cortlandt, New York, and spends her winters in South Florida.
