This book was refreshing in the way that the author captured the perspective of children towards their "Mamasaurus" or Mama. It gives children the credit of thinking of their mothers and contributing to their mothers who work hard to care for their children, their families, and their overall lives. The story acknowledges how mothers diligently give the time and effort towards caring for their children to learn manners, to care for their safety and well-being, and the fact that Mamas will always love their children regardless of their challenges, the stressors they impress upon their mamas, and are loved unconditionally because they are their mamas children. This was a joy to read with my toddler dude, who reminds me of how loved I am as his Mama, just as this book does for all Mamasauruses.
