About this ebook

She’s trained for everything up to and including alien invasion. One problem. No one told her aliens would be so damn sexy.

It’s simple. When her base is attacked by aliens, Cat has to fight. Whenever and however possible. But the alien leader, Tarrick, has her in his sights and she has one choice. Come to his bed or things go badly for her friends.

Determined to resist, it’s hard to remember what she’s fighting against when her alien captor is built like a god and his touch sets her body on fire. She only has to fool him for a while, just long enough to get the information they need to escape. Long enough to find out her alien captor isn’t the monster she thought...

But when the time comes, will she want to leave?

He needs a female, or they all die.

His species is dying. Not today, maybe not tomorrow, but with no females, their days are numbered. Finding a base full of females is a bounty Tarrick can't ignore. Nor can he ignore the delicate little female who stirs his blood yet dares to defy him at every step.

Then a dangerous rival challenges his claim on Terran space and all it’s females. He can’t afford to lose control, or his clan is doomed.

When his treasured female is taken, he'll do anything to rescue her. Including starting an intergalactic war…

I enjoyed the story enough, but to be fair I'm a sucker for a HEA. The story wasn't different, and it didn't really stand out. The book lost points because everything was just too easy, even when there was conflict presented, it was easily overcome. All the females they captured from the earth station just happen to be strong female warriors who can keep up with these males describe as looking like enhanced human males... Bigger muscles, bigger frames... But yeah, they have nothing on tiny human military women who can jeep up with their barbarian war loving ways 🤷🏼‍♀️ makes sense. Also, the lack of world building. I feel there was a real missed opportunity in that. I just like love stories, which is what I got. I might read the next book or two to see if there is any improvement in creating gripping conflict or world building.

This was a really fun and interesting read. Learning about a totally different species and their culture. The Cat character is amazing,so fearless and has so much heart. Her love story is beautiful! Her alien captor is a big softy but fearless and strong at the same time. The only part that bothered me was that the author didn't describe the human females as well as she did the Lathar Males, despite that...I look forward to reading the next book. I would recommend this book if you are a person who is interested in buff aliens and heart-melting romance.

Every "good book" need an excellent story line. A hero or heroine is necessary, and for us gals some good healthy Sex, but following the hot sex, dropping back into story. It's Cool. I just hate going into a long story, with A sexy guy and having to get to the end with 1 or 2 sexy scenes then it's over. Whew!! I'm worn out, too worn out for Sex. Love this book
