She had my attention from the moment my eyes landed on her. No matter how much I tried to resist her, I couldn't. When her friends left her at my sister's bar with no way home, I was happy to help. I didn't plan on bringing her back to my home, but I'm not upset that's where we landed. But then I woke up alone. Pissed off and wondering what just happened.

I absolutely love it when a favorite secondary character gets their own story. Jesse was too good of a character from another tale to not become the feature of his own book. I really enjoyed getting to see him more fleshed out and detailed. Then there's Faith - she seemed so unsure of herself and I love how Jesse took that on and was there for her. I loved their humor and support - such a fun book!

This is the first book in the Rosewood University DR series. It has humor, romance and witty banter. The story and character development is well written. I didn't want to put it down.

I cannot stress this enough, I completely love Kristin MacQueen’s books! When I first saw this book, I cleared some time for it. This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. This is Jesse’s story and it has been long anticipated. Jesse and Faith have an undeniable connection. Faith is gun shy but Jesse is all in. This book was perfect - the right amount of everything for a sweet book! This author does an excellent job with Jesse and Faith’s banter. I cannot get enough of Krist

About the author

Kristin is the magic behind The Boys of Mulberry Lane. From this first series she has created an entire world for us to call home. Often you can find little “Easter Eggs” throughout her books as well as character crossovers.

She resides in Pennsylvania just outside Philly with her husband, children, and several furry friends. When she isn’t writing she enjoys sewing/crafting, reading, and spending time with her family camping and exploring nature. She also works part time in the operating room which grants the medical knowledge she shares in her books.

So how did Kristin come to be an author? The simple answer….boredom. While her husband was away for work after the little monsters had already been tucked snuggly in their beds, she sat down to dip into an idea that she thought would be “just for funsies”. Now, 40-ish books later you can find her up at all hours writing away, because who needs sleep anyway?
