The Final Update series started with a bang, and the sequel is even better! The story continues not long after the first installment and follows two brothers as they fight to stay alive in a post apocalyptic world. Only now, there's a new danger. Smart, thinking zombies. And the risk of fallout from nuclear reactors as they inevitably go into meltdown. This book sees some new characters and says goodbye to some old ones. It's a thrilling ride from start to finish with some moments of genuine terror, but also some very light-hearted moments too. A wonderful book, well written and with some nicely fleshed out characters and scenes. Highly recommended. And I can't wait to see where things go with the third installment! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I didn't like it. The attraction was it being a zombie story without being technically "zombies". The cannibals was to far. I stopped a Quarter trough the story.
