So many secrets from Maxine's past are revealed. Max returned home to California for her friend Kevin's funeral. She is trying to solve two unsolved cases at the same time Jason Hoffman and Lindy Ames. Then bones are discovered and Max thinks an unknown victim was killed, Jason discovered the grave and was killed. Mysterious, suspenseful, dangerous, thrilling with unexpected twists and turns.
