About this ebook

New landlord…
…New love?
Free-spirited Nora never expected Melbourne to be her forever home. But when her landlady, Clancy, passes away, she agrees to stay until Bennett, Clancy’s grandson, can return to Australia. Over long-distance calls with him, Nora soon realizes that, while Bennett may be her polar opposite, he’s just as lost, emotionally, as she is. Still, when they finally meet, it’s the incredible spark between them that truly stuns her. Could he give her the forever home she actually needs—with him?

“I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a real Italian adventure…a winner for me. This was a wonderful end to the [A] Fairytale Summer[!] series.”

Social media marketer Nora makes a deathbed promise to Clancy, her elderly landlady: Nora will housesit until Clancy's grandson Ben comes to Melbourne and takes the keys out of Nora's hand. The trouble is, Ben lives in London. He's in the middle of a big work project (forensic accountants are Very Important) and can't find the time to travel. But Nora, a former foster kid who never found a forever home, doesn't stay in one place for long. She's ready to move on. So she pesters him with text messages and phone calls, which gradually become the best part of his day. Can (mostly) perky Nora convince (mostly) grumpy Ben to take a chance on the unexpected? This is a funny if quiet book that relies on the charm of the characters. Fortunately, the characters have a lot of charm. I'd describe the novel more as romantic comedy than romance. There aren't a lot of external obstacles other than the distance. Mostly this is an opposites-attract story of two wounded characters who find their perfect fit in each other. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

About the author

Author Ally Blake loves strong hot coffee, fluffy white clouds, dancing in the car to a song she hasn't heard in ages, and the glide of a soft, dark pencil over really good notepaper. She also adores writing love stories. Having sold over four million copies of her books worldwide she is living the dream. Alongside one handsome husband, their three spectacular children, and too many animal companions to count, Ally lives and writes in the leafy western suburbs of Brisbane, Australia.
