About this eBook

My bear is wild. Totally uncivilized. Savage.

I’m not the nice bear. That’s my twin, Teddy.

I keep my bear caged.

Until I meet Paloma and my bear goes wild.

She’s beautiful and talented, but something’s rotten in this mansion in the Hamptons.

Her foster father keeps her locked in a tower, surrounded by guards.

There are whispers of an auction–a virgin auction.

My bear’s about to break free and go on a rampage.

But I can’t let him out.

Even if I can save Paloma, I can never claim her.

Not even when she smells like wild orchids,

Not even when she feels like freedom,

Not when she is my future, and my fated mate.

"I can't be part of a we. Not when my bear is so destructive." What a ride! As usual, I was instantly pulled into this Rapunzel story and immediately fell head over heels for bear shifter Darius. He was so amazing from the very start, with his combination Viking/007 vibe. I loved how big and tough he is on the outside while inside he's basically prince charming, charging in to rescue his captive princess from her evil guardian. "Bid on her virginity...not on my watch." Paloma was pretty awesome. Her situation was unique and as the book progressed, more suprises kept popping up. (No spoilers, but when you read it, you'll understand what I'm talking about.) The chemistry between these two was so perfect, from almost the start, that the fact that they were fated mates was pretty much a given. This book has a lot of action and plot squeezed into 220 pages. I've read longer books with less, so pay attention or you'll get lost! All I can say is, expect the unexpected.

Another Hit by Rose and Savino. Our shifter, Darius, keeps his bear caged because of what happened as a child. When he meets Paloma at the home of her foster father, he feels a pull towards her. This story was very well written and the characters well developed. I love how Darius takes control and doesn't give up. Neither does Paloma. There is some roll playing, which was fun, and more amorous times between our two main characters. Looks like there will be more bear shifter stories in the future

OMG this book is sooo good! Paloma is locked away to do her father's bidding using her special talents. She does so to protect her younger sister Wren. When she is set to be auctioned off, Darius has been invited to the estate for the party but not the auction. But what happens when he realizes the danger Paloma is in, to whom he is oddly attracted? This book was soo good, with characters so enticing, i could not put it down!
