I am simply giving my review and appreciate the opportunity to share my views. Amanda Lamb is fortunate to be a paid reporter for WRAL/local Raleigh news and simply put; perhaps should place her full energy and effort into on day to day assignments. The attempt at the book was just that and was just her "gift" to share. The book was confusing, too long, and left you to wonder if this was her best shot at trying to entice her readers with yhe "awweeee" and wow effect, it didn't happen.
However, I did read the small section regarding your comments on that young man, Christopher and I have to say for you strectch out as much as you did on a local kid who you were told his demeanor didn't add up to him doing the crime, why would you drag his name down to continue what his family must be going through? My review has nothing to do with your nasty choice of further damaging an innocent family, but know, I met the father, had a talk and found out with (proof) their kid has a serious disabilty, he is getting help I heard. He has never hurt anyone, due to a head injury by a hit and run driver that left the kid for dead, he was left in a ditch to die, before being found and taking to hosiptal. I am defending the comments on him, due to meeting father and learning the real Christopher, you didn't need to smear that kids name in a book, but than again as poorly as it was written, I don't think many will sell, but good luck. Please stick with reporting.
