I didn’t like how Theresa kept putting herself down, thinking that she wasn’t good enough and how she kept bailing her drunk abusive brother out. She’s attracted to Aiden but thinks she can’t compete with the women he’s been with. Aiden pulls her in and then pushes her away thinking he’s not worth of her heart, but hurts her in the process. It isn’t until something happens to Theresa that it shakes them both up to push past their feelings of inadequacy.

4 Star review of Mistletoe Magic (Holiday Romance #2) by Amanda Siegrist Another good addition to the Holiday Romance series. This was an emotional read that got to me on a number of levels. The writing was strong and I quickly became invested in Theresa and Aiden’s story. Still reeling from the death of his fiancee Aiden is struggling. He doesn’t believe that he deserves happiness and the guilt as he begins to notice Theresa which makes it even harder for him. Theresa was such a strong character and a woman I really admired. She had had feelings for Aiden for years but has not acted on them. Can one kiss be the start of a blossoming romance? I really liked this couple and was cheering for them to get the happily ever after that they both, particularly Aiden, deserved. This is a heart warming story that had me smiling as Theresa and Aiden get the Christmas miracle that they both deserve.

This is a good holiday romance about Aiden and Theresa. There is definitely a little mistletoe magic in this heart warming story. I love the flawed but perfect characters. It is a sweet small town romance that is perfect for the holiday season.
