About this ebook

AMBEDKAR’S INDIA is a collection of three of B.R. Ambedkar’s most prominent speeches on caste and the Indian Constitution. “In the fight for Swaraj, you fight with the whole nation on your side. In fighting caste system, you stand against the whole nation – and that too, your own.” “Annihilation of Caste” is one of Ambedkar’s best works in putting together how caste as a system has been eating up the roots of a rich cultural melting pot like India. “Bhakti in religion could lead to salvation. But in politics, Bhakti is a sure road to eventual dictatorship.” “The Grammar of Anarchy” reflects Ambedkar’s ideas on how we need to pave the way for Independent India. It reflects his deep love and aspirations for India and its people. “…the sub-divisions [of caste] have lost the open-door character of the class system, and have become self-enclosed units called castes.” “Castes in India: Their Mechanism, Genesis and Development” is an in-depth study of how classes went on to become castes and sub-castes to dot the Indian social system. This powerful narrative is a radical eye-opener.

Three speeches are- 1. “The Grammar of Anarchy”- This speech reflects his love and affection towards our country and it's citizen of all class and casts. It was his last speech given in Delhi and mainly talks about Constitution 2. “Annihilation of Caste”- This speech was never actually delivered and explained his views behind cast system. According to him ,Swaraj without equality will lead to slavery . 3. "Castes in India: Their Mechanism, Genesis and Development”- This speech talks about how class have turned into caste which later turned into sub castes. He talks about castes and thier development in details and will leave you in awe with his intelligence. If you're someone who is not fond of history and yet want to dig deeper into Indian history then read this book for starters. Ambedkar's India is a compilation of three speeches by Dr. B.R Ambedkar. One of the speeches in this book, which is the most intelligent and witty was held back. The book is a sum up ideology of Late. Mr Ambedkar. Why I like the book? • Firstly, the speeches are authentic souvenirs of Ambedkar's viewpoint. Through, the speeches, readers can see through his thought process regarding the country and its people. • Whatever the man predicted somehow turned out a lot similar. The clairvoyance this man had has no match. • Every ideology is backed by various examples from religious scriptures along with comparison with another nations. He also backed his ideas with numerous examples and references. • The most important point that I caught hold of in the process of reading was B.R Ambedkar's LOGICAL REASONING. Whatever he said had sheer logic and reason. Recommended.
