It is an amazing tale of love, life, sacrifice, pain, and hope. The 5 books cover the story of the end of a multi-generational war between two Shapeshifter kingdoms, the Serpiente and the Avians. It's amazing.

Ive always loved this series even as a child. It is powerful with hope love n faith in peace. N i believe it still to this day could be quite enlightening in its belief that above all else if u work hard enough for wat u believe in surely u are strong enough to shape ur world to ur liking.

Had a few errors. Over all the plot and imagery were great, but the drama and dialog with 1st person was quite stale and not immersing enough to make it completely enjoyable.

About the author
Amelia Atwater-Rhodes grew up in Concord, Massachusetts. Born in 1984, she wrote her first novel, In the Forests of the Night, praised as "remarkable" (Voice of Youth Advocates) and "mature and polished" (Booklist), when she was thirteen.
