About this eBook

The United States is one of the founding countries of modern-day constitutionalism, federalist governmental setup and democracy. With its humble beginnings in ancient Greece, democracy was never really seen a reality until the declaration of independence by the United States in 1783 when its first constitution was enacted and implemented. Democracy itself had become extinct, so it seems, starting from Roman rule all the way till the middle ages, except just a few organisations that might have observed certain amount of suffrage to elect representatives or nobles, as observed in early Roman institutes before its transformation into an imperial power and confederacies where leaders would gather to get elected for high positions.
