These four novellas are perfect for getting into the holiday spirit!! Beginning on Christmas Eve and ending on New Year's Day, each novella follows a couple who heat up the room! I finished this bundle in one sitting. All four novellas are well written and have great character development even though the stories are short. This bundle has me ready to read nothing but Christmas stories for the rest of the year! *This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

I received a free copy through NetGalley in exchange for an honest and unbiased review/opinion. Overall: 3.5 stars — All in all a solid quadrology (or whatever you call it). My only problem is that they all felt rushed at the end. Which is a common novella problem, I get that…but I noticed it in almost every one. I also wasn’t expecting 2 of the stories to be more New Year’s centric. ‘Tis the Season to Kiss Santa by Kate Hardy 3.5 stars — I actually thought this one was pretty cute, but it was definitely a case of the novella not being enough for me. I felt like the ending came fairly quickly, and I wanted more, probably b/c there was a lot to Ellie and Mitch, and so I still had questions! Ellie was pretty adorable and sassy! Mitch started off really cold, which made his turnaround seem pretty fast, but I did feel like he really learned something from the kids. All in all it was fun, it just moved a bit fast and left me wanting more. ‘Tis the Season to Get Lucky by Heidi Rice 3.5 stars — There were a lot of little things going on in this story, and for the most part I think it added. I appreciated that the phobia helped to make them comfortable with each other quickly. I will admit that his advances came on fairly suddenly, and my 2018+ female brain was all “well, that wasn’t super clear consent” on the kiss, but I think that’s just new brain thinking, you know? Otherwise they were both interesting characters who each jumped to conclusions about the other, and learned something. I definitely felt their connection, even if it was a bit quick. ‘Tis the Season to be Kissed by Amy Andrews 3 stars — This one was going along fine…and then I had a nap in the middle, and when I went back to it, I’d just lost the connection. Both characters were pretty funny, but I just couldn’t get into reading it, so I ended up speed reading it. I think it was me though… I mean, yeah, it was fast, and I didn’t always understand some of Tamara’s reactions, but to lose my verve like that, it’s usually a mood thing. ‘Tis the Season to be Tempted by Aimee Carson 4 stars — At first I was worried I wouldn’t connect with Evie, as she’s very unlike me. But I really liked the connection that she and Wes had with one another in the past that has continued into today — both secretly attracted, but resistant, and with misconceptions. I loved their chemistry, and the resistance was really hot…their steamy scene was definitely the best. I guess the only con I have is that I kinda wanted to see how her family reacted at the end…I needed just a bit more to feel confident in their newfound relationship.

About the author

Kate Hardy
Kate Hardy is an award-winning author of more than 50 books for Harlequin Mills & Boon. Her novel 'Breakfast at Giovanni's' won the RNA Romance Prize in 2008 and she's been shortlisted three more times for the award, as well as for two Romantic Times awards.

She lives in Norwich in the east of England with her husband, two children, a springer spaniel called Byron, and too many books to count. She's a bit of a nerd who loves cinema, the theatre, history and cooking (which is why she has to go to the gym five times a week - oh, and to ballroom dancing lessons), and adores anything Italian. She loves doing research, particularly if it's hands-on and means experimenting with cooking (on her website, most of her books have a recipe connected to them). Reviewers say that her books are full of warmth, heart and charm - and also that you'll learn something new and interesting from them!

Heidi Rice

USA Today bestselling author Heidi Rice is married with two teenage sons (which gives her rather too much of an insight into the male psyche). She also works as a film journalist and was born in Notting Hill in West London (before it became as chi-chi as it is in the film starring Hugh Grant). She now lives in Islington in North London - a stone's throw away from where they shot Four Weddings and a Funeral... (She has asked Hugh very politely to stop stalking her, but will he listen?)

She loves her job because it involves sitting down at her computer each day and getting swept up in a world of high emotions, sensual excitement, funny feisty women, sexy tortured men and glamourous locations where laundry doesn't exist ... Not bad, eh.

Then she gets to turn off her computer and do chores (usually involving laundry!)

Amy Andrews

Amy Andrews is an award-winning author who has written twenty-eight romance novels. She has sold over a million books and has been translated into a dozen different languages. In 2010 she took out the sexy category in the prestigious Australian Romantic Book of the Year Award.

In what she euphemistically likes to call her spare time, she works part time as a pediatric intensive care nurse. She is married with two teenagers and lives on acreage on the outskirts of Brisbane with a gorgeous mountain view.

Aimee Carson

The summer she turned eleven, Aimee left the children's section of the library, entered an aisle full of romance novels, and pulled out a book. That story sparked a love affair with the genre that has never faded.

Armed with a fantastic part-time job as a physician in the Alaskan Bush (imagine a combination of Northern Exposure and E.R., minus the beautiful mountains and George Clooney), she enjoys being home in the gorgeous Black Hills of South Dakota, riding her dirt bike with her three wonderful kids and beyond-patient husband. But every morning while working on her latest novel, she gets to play God and flirt vicariously through her characters.
Her motto? Life is too short to do anything less than what you absolutely love. She counts herself lucky to have two jobs she adores.
