Kilty As Charged

Catriona's been "fixer" for Parasol Pictures for longer than she cares to remember. Saving drug-addled actors and shady producers from themselves is a grind, so when she finds a half-naked man in a kilt passed out on their Hollywood lot, it's just Tuesday for her.

This guy, though...

Against her better judgment, she wheels his unconscious carcass to her apartment to let him sleep it off and keep from losing his budding acting career. Plus, the studio doesn't like it when she sends half-unconscious people off in Ubers. The Uber drivers like it even less.

But this guy is a disaster. A gorgeous disaster, but one hundred percent trainwreck.

When he wakes up, things only get weirder. First, his name's Brochan. Broken? What twisted parents name their kid broken? Catriona wants to write off the ridiculously sexy, self-proclaimed Highlander as a con artist, but her adopted father seems strangely comfortable with the man claiming to have no memory of his past or knowledge of the modern world.

And ol' Kilty doesn't seem to care or remember where the stab wound in his side came from. No, he's headed for her shower—again—like he's never had one, obsessed with her shampoos, devoid of all modesty...and dammit...he's charming as hell.

A red-bearded thug, an old picture, and a three-hundred-year-old vendetta soon have Catriona worried she could lose everything—including the mysterious time-traveling Scotsman who makes her crazy in more ways than one.
