This was sweet and I hadn't realized it was part of a series of multiple authors. I loved the mystery surrounding the story although I feel it would be better if the previous books are read first. Nicole and Collin area sweet and I loved seeing their relationship develop among the craziness in the town.

An Officer And A Fortune is a fantastic contemporary romance by Nina Crespo. Ms. Crespo has provided readers with a well-written book populated with a phenomenal cast of characters. Collin is on military leave to get his father settled into a nursing facility of some sort. Nicole is the chef at Roja Restaurant and meets Collin at a market while picking her fresh produce. Nicole and Collin's story is packed with drama, humor and spice. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to my next book by Nina Crespo. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I won a print copy of this book from Goodreads. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
