Irina N. Melnikova is head of the Laboratory for Atmospheric Physics Research Center for Interdisciplinary Environmental Cooperation RAS (INENCO) in St. Petersburg, Russia. Her main interest and publications are in the field of solar radiation in clouds and atmospheric aerosol, atmospheric pollution, atmospheric correction in remote sensing problems, inverse problems of atmoshperic optics, radiation budget of the atmosphere
