And I Love You the Most

What a fitting conclusion to the love triangle between Marcus - the villain extraordinaire, Cody - the FBI agent tasked to catch him and Delilah - the attorney who is supposed to prosecute Marcus if caught. This book picks up at the end of the last one, with Delilah being taken by some of Marcus' enemies and Cody and Marcus teaming up to rescue her. The writing style is spot on, this being a very atmospheric for me. I could practically taste the despair and the pain of these characters. There are some very dark moments in this book. Neither character is all good or all bad. They are all broken souls in need of mending. Having read some of the other books set in this world, the ending had me gasping a bit and I plan on re-reading some storylines.
