Even for beginner like myself, step aerobics suit my pacing. I also find it ideal for my busy lifestyle as most workout session are less than an hour. These low impact but high in intensity moves let me burn all the unwanted calories. I like the "10 basic moves" chapter, where the description of each move is concise and "to-the-point".

I was looking for a reference book for water aerobics as my compressed vertebrae have worsened as has my arthritis to the point where all movement is incredibly painful and becoming impeded. I had already embarked upon swimming , some ballet exercises and jogging etc. in the water, but felt I need more structure. Being xenophobic doing these exercises at home are the only option.

Great book for beginners, seniors, or anyone recovering from a long term illness or injury. Explicit descriptions and illustrations. Easy to read typeface. Very thorough. Material well organized. Not for advanced yogis.
