I really loved this one! I thought Mason was amazing. Not your normal alpha hero. He's a lot geeky, a complete social misfit, and he seems perfectly okay with that. Never does he try to be anything but who he is. Camilla is also great. Although shocked by some of what Mason says, well maybe everything he says, never is she demeaning or cruel. She seems to accept the way he is and goes with it. The story is very well written and completely entertaining. This is definitely one I would recommend.

It's not everyday that you encounter a character like Mason. Mason has a head for business, a body for sin and an aloof attitude that he hides behind to conceal his insecurities. Camilla sees the man behind the genius. As she gets to know him all she wants to do is help to build his confidence. I liked Tempting the New Boss. Mason was an Alpha in training that found himself when he met Camilla. He needed her guidance to help him develop the courage to speak up and never doubt the choices he had to make. She needed him to show her that she was more than a face in the crowd. Angela Claire took a different path with this read but that's what I feel made it all the more romantic. Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

About the author

Angela Claire, like most writers, grew up loving to read, which led to a degree in English literature, which in turn led to unemployment. Not having been born to wealth, Angela developed a more practical plan for eating and paying her rent—hence the dreaded and expected descent into law school and inevitable career as a lawyer. Once she paid off her pesky yet massive student loans, Angela saved for an escape from the law profession one day. Now a multi-published author, she does what she loves, but with a little less leeway on the eating and paying rent thing.
