I am newbie when it comes to this free-motion quilting lark, but after reading this book I am thoroughly motivated to try my hand at free-motion quilting. This easy read, easy to understand book with clear illustrations and some good tips (eg.. save paper - buy a mini dry erase board to practise drawing the designs) is a winner.
About the author
Since learning how to quilt from her husband's grandparents ten years ago, Angela has been in love with the art of quilting. She purchased her first quilting machine eight years ago and has been quilting professionally, teaching, and giving trunk shows ever since. She has quilted for fabric designers, authors, and pattern makers and has been published in books and magazines. She loves traditional quilting but has found her niche in quilting modern quilts and in helping others learn how to adapt their quilting designs for modern quilts.
