I have known A K Upadhyaya for more than four decades. His sense of humour is legendary as can be seen from his book - a collection of his blog entries. Without being contrived and without that air of an intellectual speaking to lesser mortals - he honestly and almost playfully records his observations on varied aspects of our routine life. He manages to bring in humour where it is least expected and surprises you with a sharp and incisive wit. A great e-book indeed. Loved reading it as I am sure, you will

If you enjoy a quick coffee in the evening, Miscellania is for you. A not so sweet, but strong enough to awaken you and refresh you with an uncommon view of common issues, with its own aroma of wits is what I found Miscellania is. Mr. Upadhayay has a different bent of mind and while you may disagree with his views, you can’t stop appreciating it for the forceful arguments, larger perspective and briefness of expression. Though the writings are instant-energisers for all, young or hardened minds, a reader may have to walk extra mile in relating some of the topics which are time contextual. Enjoy adhyayas of Upadhayay

The author is gifted with a terrific sense of humour and has an uncanny ability to pick up interesting topics from happening around all of us. The control on language is superb, which adds to the reading pleasure. You may agree or strongly disagree with the wandering mind of the author, but enjoy reading this book you will. Being a collection of blogs posted by the author from time to time, the title of the book says it all-- it lets your mind wander into the utterly fluid format and the sheer variety of the topics. A very interesting read indeed!
