For nearly forty years, Zehline Davis has dedicated herself to the pursuit of educational excellence. She has inspired students to aim higher and work harder than they thought they could and has been recognized by many of her former students as the most influential motivating factor toward the success they have attained. Wherever she taught, whatever she taught, Mrs. Davis exerted maximum effort and expected maximum results. Many a student who found themselves on the wrong course was put back on track due to the commitment and dedication of Mrs. Davis. Mrs. Davis was reared in Charleston, West Virginia. She traveled the United States and Europe with her family during her husband's military career. Throughout her teaching career, and presently today, Mrs. Davis has been active in politics. She served as a delegate in the national presidential election. Active in social causes, community issues, and raising two children, Rene' and Homer Jr., Mrs. Davis has always been involved and concerned with making a difference in the world in which she lives. Naturally, Mrs. Davis concluded that teaching would provide the best means of really making a difference.
