Patricia Wright
I enjoyed reading Travis and Larissa's story, I thought both characters were interesting and well-drawn and the world-building was well done and the storyline was unusual. Travis is now an incubus but once he was human and worked as a sheriff in Texas. At first, you would think Larissa was human but actually, she's something more, something which was quite a surprise. I loved the tension and chemistry between the two of them and enjoyed the way the story flowed.
Losing It with Shannon
The world building of this story is very unique. Travis used to be a Texan sherif(which is important to his character) and Larissa is something else. I was in for a shock when what she was was revealed. Lots of tension. I haven't read any of the other books but this reads like a stand alone. You will be fine. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Advanced listener review : i have been intrigued by the retelling of Hathor’s story since she was mentioned in Obsidian Hunger . My family is from Egypt so i was curious to see how close Anna Durand would follow the mythology. And i loved it. Yes this is a darker more evil version of the goddess of love, fertility and harvest who is deeply revered by Egyptian farmers even today, but it was done just right! I loved the interaction with other gods in the multiverse, the ridiculous banter with her sexy incubus and the heart melting moments on her journey to redemption and true love. Well done. Shane East is one sexy dirty talking salamander i must say and Mackenzie Cartwright is my absolute favorite paranormal romance narrator. Overall i loved the story, characters and narration. Cant wait for the next story from the unseen realm
