Both these books explicitly have sex scenes in which the heroine is forced to have sex against her will multiple times. The author is under the immensely flawed impression that if you are aroused, it must be consensual. NOPE. However, if rape/non-consent erotica is the niche in which you wish to write, then you are morally obligated to describe the content so that a reader may make an educated/consensual decision to read these scenes. Besides that, writing is merely mediocre.

The title isn't an exaggeration. This book is for people who like seriously dark fantasies. Includes a young woman being abducted & repeatedly raped, a hefty dose of stockholm syndrome and a character being graphically murdered. I have read other books by the same author and thought they were ok but sadly this one was not to my taste.

As the title aptly mentions it is a dark romance with a lot of explicit scenes. The second book close liaisons was an okay read. The first book Twist me was so gripping that I just had to finish to c what wud happen next.
