Ms. LBN
This was the best adventure ever. Had me sitting on the edge of my seat. The romance was fresh and new. I read a lot of books and when I happened upon this author I was so excited, She keeps every book I have read different. New and nail biting adventures. I like a mans, man but gentle to his lady and true to his friends. Hooray..

Captain Bennett Sheraton, a Navy SEAL, is in the running to head a secret space mission, and also to find out what happened to SEALs who died in the process. Dr. Kimberly Warren, who developed the Warren Shuttle, is having problems with some members of the scientists; there is a struggle for power and not only because she’s a woman. Kimberly and Bennett immediately feel the pull of attraction, but they have to be careful, especially when they have to work together to discover what is really happening. I wasn’t really sure what to expect from THE SOUL OF A SEAL, as Ms. Elizabeth was a new author to me, but wow! The pacing of the story is flawless, the descriptions were so spot-on that I felt I was on the premises, the technical stuff seemed entirely believable, and seldom have I read sexual chemistry that was so palpable, that felt so real, without ever being over the top. Anne Elizabeth’s characterisation of Bennett and Kimberly is fabulous! I saw them, I heard them, and I loved them so very much, individually and together. Kimberly is a real professional, and I always got the feeling that she really belonged there; her being an engineer is not just some titled bestowed on a female character to make it all look good; Kimberly behaves like the brainy woman that she is, and she is not afraid of her sexuality either. And the sex scenes are splendid; tender, loving, playful, and very, very hot! There was a tiny little thing that grated: the overuse of the word “brethren”, but in the grand scheme of things, it really is a mere trifle, given the splendid writing overall, and the writing is truly stupendous, whether the narrative or the fabulous dialogues. THE SOUL OF A SEAL features some incredibly realistic space mission sequences, I felt I was watching everything up close; it was all so very exciting. And that ending! An important detail that had been mentioned at the beginning, and that I had entirely forgotten, added to the suspense towards the end. THE SOUL OF A SEAL is a fabulous suspense, a lovely and most convincing love story, and one of the best female characters ever written! This is on fabulous book! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
