Some books will fit neatly into a specific genre. It should be clear what the book is about to the reader so that they will be interested in what you have written enough to buy the book. Most readers have types of books that they like to read and tend to stick to one or two genres. If you are writing a non-fiction book, there are also genres. You need to make your book stand out among the rest in a way that will set it apart from other books of the same genre.
