Cerco la mia anima
nel buio della notte,
nei vicoli oscuri,
quando stringo i pugni chiusi
in un mondo con cui faccio a botte,
cerco quello che sono dentro,
nelle lotte di tutti i giorni,
nella vita che in me fa pieno centro,
io stringo i denti e vivo il tempo
come un fuoco che brucia nei forni,
come il pane profumato al giusto momento,
nella notte dagli indefiniti contorni,
mi stringo le carni nel buio,
abbraccio la mia anima.
