About this eBook

With the suspicious death of Tad Halston, Detective Darek Blake finds walking the line between NYPD detective and Zodiac member a more daunting task than ever.

Hannah Halston, Tad’s sister, refuses to believe the official story that her brother went on a vengeful killing spree. She’s doing her best to clear his name, which brings Darek’s partner, Special Agent Lizzy McNamara, even closer to his criminal past. Meanwhile, whoever is targeting the Zodiacs has their sights on Logan Miller.

His life is complicated enough already, with his struggling career and bitter relationship with an older woman, but when he meets Hannah Halston at her brother’s funeral, lending a sympathetic shoulder turns into so much more. He’s determined to end things with the older woman until she tells him she’s dying.

Stuck between a rock and hard place, does he continue his relationship, or go where his heart tells him? Will the killer choose for him?

Book 3 in The Zodiac Killers series adds the POV of Logan, the Aquarius of the group. Things are heating up, with more clues being found, and sometimes manipulated. Lizzy is getting more intense and obsessive about where she thinks the clues are leading, to the point of making wild ridiculous accusations of victims and suspects alike. Darek continues to walk the fine line between upholding the law and obstructing it. Tad's (from Capricorn) sister Hannah continues to think that Bay is involved with everything that has been going on. This story continues to keep me riveted, anxiously awaiting the turn of the page. Murder, drama, kink, and intrigue continue to reign in Aquarius. Every time I think I'm having an "aha moment", and have something figured out...nope. There is another clue, or twist that has me spinning my wheels again. Like it's predecessors, this volume is also well written, with story arcs and characters that continue to develop with each book. With this one, I'm questioning Lizzy and her level of almost manic obsession, but otherwise am on board with the continuing story line. Of course, I am anxiously awaiting the release of the next book in this series. Normally, I hate reading cliffhangers, and have been known to add them to my "do not read list", possibly reading the series once all are released, but more often, not going back to them at all...especially if there is no indication that it is a cliffhanger series until you get to the end of book 1. With The Zodiac Killers Series, it feels almost like each book is a new season of a favorite TV show. I'm sad it comes to an end, am frustrated more isn't revealed, but am waiting with baited breath for the next "season". I can't say enough about this series! Since this was a reader review copy, I will try to wait patiently to actually purchase a copy...and wait even more patiently for Pisces to release.

I really enjoy this story but I must admit to feeling a bit cheated. These aren't books. They are novellas at best and short stories at worse. Combined, the first 3 barely have enough pages to constitute a decent length novel.

These books just keep getting better and better. I had to block out some time to read this book, because I knew that once I started reading, I wasn't going to be able to stop. And I was not disappointed. The book picks up right after Tad's flying leap and focuses on Logan, the Aquarius of the group. And make no mistake, there is a killer seeking revenge on the men, and the killer will stop at nothing to ruin the lives of Bay Collins' Zodiacs.
