About the author

Dr. Arbind Prasad, a Mechanical Engineering Ph.D. holder from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, serves as an Assistant Professor and Head of Mechanical Engineering in Bihar, India. He has a remarkable academic background with a gold medal in M. Tech, one granted patent, three pending patents, and significant research contributions, including 15 international journal papers, seven book edits, 21 book chapters, and 15 conference papers. Dr. Prasad is an award recipient for his research work and has successfully managed state-funded projects. He plays editorial roles in various international journals and is a member of professional societies such as the Society of Polymer Science India and the Society of Biomaterials and Artificial Organs of India. His research spans resorbable polymers, biomaterials, and nano materials processing, making him a prominent figure in the field.

Prof. (Dr.) J. Paulo Davim is a Full Professor at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, with over 35 years of experience in Mechanical, Materials, and Industrial Engineering. He holds multiple distinguished academic titles, including a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a DSc from London Metropolitan University. He has published over 300 books and 600 articles, with more than 36,500 citations. He is ranked among the world's top 2% scientists by Stanford University and holds leadership positions in numerous international journals, conferences, and research projects.

Dr. Sonika is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Rajiv Gandhi University, India. She holds a Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University and has a diverse research background, including roles as a Research Associate at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics. With six years of teaching experience, she has authored research papers, book chapters, and presented at conferences. Dr. Sonika has also given invited talks at workshops and symposia and supervised three Master's dissertations. She is a life member of Indian Physics Association (IPA) and International Academy of Physical Sciences (IAPS) and serves as a journal reviewer for international publishers. Her research encompasses Nuclear Structure, Nuclear Reaction, Accelerators, Instrumentation for Nuclear Physics, and extends to biodegradable polymers, advanced materials, nano devices, materials science, energy harvesting, optimization techniques, and energy storage

Dr. Sushil Kumar Verma is a Research Scientist at IIT Guwahati, India, specializing in Chemical Engineering. He holds an M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Gorakhpur and earned M.Tech in Polymer Nanotechnology from CIPET Bhubaneswar. In 2018, he completed his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering & Technology at Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi. With seven years of industry experience, Dr. Verma has received Junior and Senior Research Fellowships from DST-SERB, along with a Best Poster Award at a symposium. He has authored multiple high-impact research papers, book chapters, and has presented invited talks at conferences. His current research focus includes the synthesis, manufacturing, and new product development of biodegradable polymer compounds and nanocomposites for applications in biodegradable plastics, energy harvesting, and energy storage.
